The supply chain of HAZMAT cargo begins with classification according to the classification groups, and handling in the classification department of materials that require a toxic permit from the Ministry of Environment, or materials that are packed in pressure packaging, and require the approval of the Standards Institute. after handling the cargo in the custom clearence department and providing the necessary documents, the handling of the cargo moves to the international shipping department, while the teams operate according to specific rules and instructions regarding transport by air, sea and land.
Air transportation:
According to the procedures of IATA, the international airline organization, and subject to the number of employees in Amit, there are at least 3 employees in Amit who are certified to handle HAZMAT through the air, alongside other employees in the company who pass the course.
The employees who have certificates, renew their validity every two years in a refresher course.
Sea transportation:
As shippers, we are not allowed to produce sender's declaration, but the company's certified HAZMAT employees have extensive knowledge and experience, which they use to control the HAZMAT documents, check the integrity of the packaging and its markings, and build an optimal transportation plan with the appropriate suppliers for the type of material being transported and its origin/destination .
Land transportation:
